Review Text: Phenomenal Sound and Above-Average Battery Life. I picked one of these up to replace my non-functional Pulse 2, hoping for improved battery life, sound quality, and for the extra feature of being a built-in power bank. So far, I'm very satisfied with the sound of this speaker. Rich bass, clarity, and the sound travels to fill a whole room with amazing acoustics as you increase the volume. Placed in a warehousing or factory environment, however, the sound will be drowned out considerably as you move 10-15 feet away from it. As for JBL boasting the 20-hour life, I haven't experienced this even at 50% volume, and have yet to see this speaker outlast a 10-hour shift. lol! Maybe if you have it at a whisper, then maybe it would last that long. The plus side is at least you can charge something else up while listening to music. I recommend this speaker for all of its perks, but it's best used in a small-space setting with very little to no other background noise to truly appreciate the power of this speaker. Two of these paired up would be overkill.
