Review Text: Perfect portable speaker!. The Sony XB13 portable speaker is almost perfect! It's small, super easy to set up, WATERPROOF! and has an ingenious snappable 'strap' for hanging in out of the way places! Seriously--this thing is small, though feels much more substantial than other speakers of this size. You won't feel like you might have broken it tossing it into the back of your SUV as you hit the road. It's super-easy to set up as well--charge it for a while, then hit the power button and it will start looking for things to pair to right away. My phone and ipad both found it within seconds. From there adjust the volume and you're all set! The sound quality is the best I've heard in a portable speaker this small--there really is extra and substantial bass! It's crystal clear and the bluetooth signal can be picked up very far away (I was able to get roughly 300 feet away before it starting getting staticy). Your mileage may vary, of course. If you are looking for a portable speaker that won't take up a ton of space in your bag or car then this is perfect! They're small enough that you can even take a set of them with you (if your device can pair to more than one thing, of course) for filling an outdoor area! Highly recommended--especially for the price!
