Review Text: Worth the Money. Multiple Uses. I decided to get this because I no longer have a DVD player, but do have one on my laptop that I can transmit to the TV with the use of this wireless extender. Setup for this is very simple. Plug the HDMI cable (included) into the transmitter then into your computer, and plug in the AC adapter. You will need another HDMI cable (not included) to plug into your TV and the receiver. Once both lights are green, it is ready to use. Just make sure you have your TV set to the correct HDMI input. I didn't do that at first and thought I had a problem, but then realized I had to change the input. The computer and transmitter were approximately 25 feet away from the television and receiver and I didn't experience any lag in the picture or the voice whatsoever. It was just like I was watching cable! There was no distortion or pixilation in the video. In fact, it looked much better on my 75" TV than it did on my laptop. This wireless extender will come in handy for our projector screen also! I am looking forward to using the projector outside. I am taking one star off because only one HDMI cable came with this product and you must use two for this to work. You will need one to hook the transmitter to the laptop (or transmitter device) and one to hook the receiver to the TV for the long distance wireless transmission. There is also the concern that the receiver does get very warm after having it plugged in for 24 hours. However, I do love this wireless extender and it does work VERY well for my use and I would recommend it.
