Review Text: Now IOS compatible. We upgraded from a 10yr old Kenmore Elite front loader. This LG is larger and quieter. Love the lighted stainless tub and all of its features and wash cycles. This is the most efficient washer in terms of electricity and water used according to energystar. This unit is quiet and vibration free at 1300 rpms during the spin cycle. The most noise that's made is during emptying after rinse. It has nothing to do with the washer, the noise is coming from the water being dumped into the drain. Even when the washer and sidekick are running together, the. noise level is very low. All of the reviews saying that it's not Apple IOS compatible, well it is now. I did a search on google for the Smart ThinQ app and downloaded from LG rather than Apples App Store. Washer and dryer connects quickly. The app allows full function of the washer and dryer and all of its settings from the app. You even get alerts when the load is done and you can watch the progress of your wash cycles.
