Review Text: Good Product,not worth almost half a grand($433). I first owned the Sony xm3 for 7 months before the headband cracked and I used my warranty two weeks ago. I exchanged them for some 700's yesterday because of the build of the Bose. I don't think the headband will break from a slight fall. I didn't want to purchase the 80 dollar warranty again so I payed the extra 55 for the Bose because I felt they had and now know they do have better build quality hands down. I don't like that they stick out on the sides more than the xm3s. The sound on the Bose is not as good as Sony's xm3s. It's not bad but noticeably not as good. The phone call quality is superb on the Bose 700's. I work in a loud Manufacuring environment and spend a lot of the time on the phone so this is a big plus to me. It blocks out the outside noise better. The Sony's only lacked in the wind mainly but did pick up more outside noise and bring them into phone calls than Bose. The noise cancelling on the Bose is better than the song xm3 as well. The Sony is great but the new Bose 700 just blows you a way with how good it is when it comes to noise cancelling. For example on a scale the Bose rates a 11 the Sony is a 8 in Boise cancelling. The Sony actually blows Bose out of the water when it comes to battery life and charging. It's too big of a difference. Bose should do better. The Bose app needs work. I can't hardly even connect my headphones to it. Haven't connected but 2 times. It keeps saying failure to connect? Hope this gets updated. Was giving me a headache last night. Overall Assessment of the Bose 700's? I believe they are hand down overall the best noise cancelling headphones on the market now. They lead in noise cancelling, phone calls and build quality. The sound is not bad just not as dynamic as the Sony's and sorta lacks bass. If I get a good 4 years out of them I will be satisfied. Lot of other cheaper options. Buy what makes you happy, just don't be stupid. If the things that make the price $400 suit you buy them.
