Review Text: I am now a ROCCAT fan for life.. I love buying new keyboards often as I always get bored of the one I'm using and feel like something new. My latest keyboard is the ROCCAT Vulcan TKL compact mechanical. I went with this keyboard because I absolutely love the smaller form-factor look and don't need the numeric keypad. I also insist on my keyboards to have a volume control as I find it extremely handy and this one has a great volume knob on the top-right. But what really drew me to this keyboard is just the overall look. The brushed aluminum of the base and the thin square keys gives this keyboard a premium and modern look. I also went with the mechanical keys over the optical ones as I didn't see the benefit of paying so much more money for what looked like an identical keyboard. I'm a touch-typist and I didn't find any added benefit from typing on optical switches. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and I recommend this keyboard.
