Review Text: Small and plentiful!. I love this ice machine! It makes ice so quickly- literally in about 10-15 minutes it is churning out cubes. It sets up quickly and does not take up much room on my counter (I was worried about how big it would be). You plug it in, add water to the top (about 14 cups give or take) and then hit the power button. The display tells you that it is starting. The cubes it makes are what I would call "soft". My daughter has a chronic illness and spends too much time in hospitals and calls this "hospital ice". She loves it because it's easy to chew but it holds it's shape nicely. The unit will tell you when the bin is full and will go into a holding mode. It will keep the ice cold until needed. As soon as you take some out, it will continue to make more! My refrigerator has an automatic ice maker that has been nothing but problems for several years. It does not make much ice at all and I am always needing more. This machine is a perfect addition to my kitchen. I now have enough ice for any occasion! It will keep churning cubes out as long as you keep refilling the reservoir when it gets empty. It is small enough that you could bring it to a party and have plenty of ice all night long.
