Review Text: Buy one without an ice maker. Overall we like the aesthetics of the refrigerator. No issues with keeping food cold or frozen. But, the ice maker and water dispenser has been an ongoing issue since 2 months after purchase. We have had kichenaid authorized repairmen out 3 times. They replaced the ice bucket, the controller board, and fixed nothing on the third visit. I have personally replaced the ice bucket three times and replaced the ice tray mechanism once. Three years later, it makes ice but will not dispense the ice from the bucket. It also randomly locks the water dispenser. It is a like using a magic 8 ball, "will I get water this time?", "Answer is not currently clear." Seems from my extensive research and experience with this fridge, that this is a common issue and kitchenaid is refusing to do anything about it.
