Review Text: Pretty on the outside, poor reliability.. We have already had one warranty replacement on our Kitchenaid 5 door refrigerator. Between all of our rentals we have about 20 refrigerators, I prefer Whirlpool products for their overall reliability. I have a saying- Friends don't let Friends buy Samsung, or Frigidaire... but this Kitchenaid 5 door apparently has some massive design flaws and the service providers while under manufacturer warranty are insanely slow to react. Geek Squad's teams have been great, though! It's gorgeous, but I would not recommend. The warranty replacement is a month old and it went from just due to water taking 2.5 minutes to fill a 16oz cup of water. Our last one did the same thing. A part was replaced and then all was good. Our last one started freezing all of our food too... hopefully this one won't do the same. Equipment breaks. It's inevitable. The worst part of the experience that damages the Whirlpool brand is the appliance repair companies Whirlpool chooses as repair partners, which in my experience aren't responsive, are slow to act, and take forever to get parts and install them. Geek squad is extremely fast and responsive, appliance hospital was extremely slow and unresponsive.
