Review Text: High Quality Cameras. We wired these cameras so that they go directly to a monitor, instead of using the wireless Bluetooth capability available. That is one of the reasons we like this system - is that you can do it either way. The instructions for installation were very clear for each method and while it strongly recommends connecting to the internet (and tells you the limitations of NOT doing so) it still allows you to connect the system without the internet. We did call customer service, which was very friendly and professional, to ask about the power cord on each of the cameras. The cameras do not need a separate power supply unless you go over 60'. Wiring the system took some time but was easy. We recommend drawing out on paper where each camera will go, and measuring distances to the recording device. Each camera can be customized to turn on/off the motion lighting and sounds (it says "Smile, you're being recorded". We had a little difficult time accessing the software on our monitor but figured it out. The recording quality is exceptional and it's easy to go to the selected camera and see where it recorded something. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend these cameras for either a main security system, or a backup in case internet is not available.
