Review Text: A great way to protect your home.. The Google Nest Cam was a great addition to my smart home setup. Unboxing and setting up the camera was a breeze with the included instructions and Google Home app setup they quickly guided me and had me setup within just a few minutes. The camera does have some heft to it but it comes with mounting hardware if you want it up on a wall or someplace not flat. You can setup "Activity Zones" that make it so the camera is only looking in those areas for movement to alert you or you can just have it look everywhere. You can also set it up to only record when you're not home just so you can keep tabs on what is going on when you aren't there. There is an optional subscription service that will give you more recording options. You get a running 3 hours of video recording which should be sufficient when you're trying to go back to a recorded event. The camera does allow for 2 way communication and the delay is not that bad so you can also use it like an intercom system for your setup so it facilitates communication. Overall I'm very happy with the Google Nest Cam and it already helped me capture an intruder in my kitchen! It was me :)
