Review Text: 17 months and hinge broke. I will say I was impressed with the laptop after being a MacBook Pro user for 8 years prior to this purchase in Dec 2020. However in June 2022, 17 months after purchase the hinge on the left side of the laptop broke and cracked while closing the laptop normally like I have every time before. I can not find a place to repair. The geek squad rep who looked at it said it wouldn't be worth it to send it out to be repaired because it would be about $400-$500 and I paid $850 for it. Performance wise it has worked well but I am sad and upset that I didn't even get a good 3 years. Now I plan to return to Apple because even my old MacBook Pro still runs and has no hardware or frame defects. You need to do better Lenovo especially since I see this is a major problem based on several other reviews I have read with the same issue!! Save yourself the hassle and just purchase something else!
