Review Text: This is a PowerA cable, not Sony!. To be clear, this 1 is for Best Buy, not PowerA. But to some extent Sony. There is a certain type of micro USB required to sync the controller with a ps4 or PC. It's not a standard cable. The last one I bought just didn't work. You can only get an official one with a ps4 system, or so I thought. So when I saw this I was ecstatic. The listing says Sony, I did not think to zoom in on the image to see the small PowerA logo. That image is not even the same box I received (attaching my own image, showing logo at the bottom). That said, this did sync with the ps4 using an older model controller (after hitting the reset button with a paper clip!). And it seems to be more physically stable on the controller connection than the official one. But I will run more tests before buying another... and it won't be from Best Buy.
