Review Text: Can't use soundcard's jacks; small recorded audio. I'm disappointed that the headset cannot be plugged into my SoundBlaster X-Fi's soundcard's dedicated audio jacks (headset & mic jacks inputs). Secondly, the recorded voice audio is small and tiny compared to my cheap Plantronics .Audio 655's. Those pickup background noise, but the recorded voice audio is clear and big. While the HyperX Cloud Core 7.1 does suppress background audio, the audio recorded from the mic is small and tiny, like a radio. Likewise, the actual sound is not impressive at all. There is no bass when I played bass heavy music. It sounded hollow. I would not recommend these for audio recording or even gaming. Have to return them and find headsets that I can plug into my soundcard and can record clear audio. Peace.
