Review Text: Never again. I purchased this chair 1 year and 2 weeks ago. I ended up with a base that had cracked in half making the chair unusable. As I am the only who uses this chair and weigh 165 pounds, I am left to believe this is a material defect in the product. I reached out to Serta and they sent me to the warranty department. After waiting for 45 minutes on hold, the warranty department told me I would need to pay for the new base, have it shipped and reassemble it. When I purchased the chair for $280, I did so with the peace of mind I would be buying quality and would get some longevity from my purchase. I went back to Serta and asked if this was the best customer service they would offer me. They told me that it is just their name on a third parties material. I followed up with emails, only to be ignored. The chair now sits propped in a corner and I am sitting on my $15 TJ Maxx stool until I call the warranty company back and pay for the parts, or throw away a $280 purchase that I was only able to use for a year. Never again will I buy Serta.
