Review Text: Lg knocked it out of the park. I love speakers. I have a bunch of them from jbl, sony, bose and a few of those amazon brand ones. Every time I've come across and LG speaker, there has always been a better alternative. Although this xboom 360 isn't the ends all, it does something that none of the speaker I have does. It truly gives a full 360 sound. I placed this in the center of living room and slowly walked all around it. I could not notice any difference in the sounds that were coming to my ears. First off, this thing is heavy. It's heavy and big. Please reference my picture. I can see it being a problem for someone to figure a location for this speaker, but on the other hand, I sorta like it's shape and looks. I put it on my backyard table and it also doubles as a great light at night. Speaking of lights, the unit has 3 light modes. Ambient, nature and party. I don't care for anything but the ambient. It's really nice at night when the speaker is in the middle of the table in the backyard. Second, is the app. I really like the app. It is easy to use and straight forward. You have the option to turn the unit on and off. You can switch between light modes. It also has an eq with preset eq or you can customize. Last, is sound. The sound is very good and for me, the bass hits hard. The only complaint would be that for a unit this size, I expected it to be louder. Not that it's not loud, just that with the size, I expected more. If you set the eq to "outside" it does get noticeably louder but if you use the custom, you lose that. If you plan on using this for a backyard bbq, it's perfect. If you want to have a dance party, you would need 2 units. And from the specs, it shows that you can hook up 2 units at once. I definitely recommend this speaker over any other brands at this price point, it's even better than the jbl extreme, which I really like.
