Review Text: You were SO CLOSE Oster!. I can't remember the time I fired up my oven. I'm addicted to convection toaster ovens for nearly all of my cooking needs. I make my toast, frozen pizza, air fry chicken, you name it...it gets done in a toaster oven. Unfortunately, I'm messy and things drip so and sometimes I'd rather just get a new one than clean it! Enter this Oster Rapid Crisp! Looks: With a stainless steel facade and dark grey shell this oven looks great on my countertop. I also appreciate the subtle look of the control panel. Controls: Other toaster ovens have a touch panel that lets you choose the oven method. I kind of like that this Oster uses a scroll wheel. It keeps your fingers on one wheel and prevents the buttons from getting worn out. Performance: God I love convection toaster ovens. I have a pizza that calls for 22-24 minutes in the oven that is a staple in my house. I load it up with extra cheese and popped it in this Oster and set the oven to 400 with convection. 8 minutes later it was perfection. Toast comes out toasty and I have no concerns about performance. Only negative: There's no light! It's got a great big window to watch the cooking progress, but I keep mine under a cabinet next to a refrigerator and I can't see inside - it's too dark! I would have loved a light so that I don't have to keep opening the oven to check on my food progress.
