Review Text: Plug-In Range Extender Goodness. This device is just what we've been looking for. After using various brands of modems/routers over the years, and finding each one to have their pros, cons, and limitations, we needed something more to boost our wireless signal throughout the house. Quick, simple, and easy setup - Just follow the directions! The device takes up minimal space. Convenient plug-in directly to the wall socket, no cord to mess with. Plus, as we are a household having MANY devices accessing our wireless network, it's very helpful having the choice now to connect to this extender instead. But the best feature of all, is the ability to use your mobile phone with the Spot Finder Technology to seek out the optimal area of the house in which to place your Linksys Range Extender. As for performance, so far so good. After connecting to our extention, I gained an extra 'bar' on my mobile phone when in the farthest back room of our house. No lag or slowness evident during normal use of my phone or tablet. Seems to be working just fine while on the laptop gaming. Therefore, based on my experience thus far, I can recommend the Linksys RE-7000 Plug-In Range Extender for those wanting or needing an extra boost of range to their existing WiFi Network.
