Review Text: Smart and classy, clean looking. The Samsung Jet Bot+ Robot Vaccum with Clean Station is our first Samsung smart robot vacuum and it doesn't disappoint. It came packed very well in a big box with plenty of environmentally friendly packaging and protective tape and foam in all the right places. There is a QR code you can scan that will guide you through the download/install of the SmartThings AppOver and easy setup of the Jet Bot+ itself. It will first have to charge for some time and it will let you know with a pleasant voice what it's doing and also send updates through the App. Once it was fully charged the light turned green, so I asked it to do a quick mapping job, with no cleaning. It went about its business, around furniture obstacles, even over the thresholds between the living room and kitchen. The obstacle avoidance works really well, thanks to the advanced LiDAR sensors that help it adjust its path and cleaning optimization based on the surface it's going over. iRobot makes everything so easy from the very start - even the unboxing has simple instructions. Unlike the other popular competitor that goes in straight lines back and forth all over the floor, the Samsung Jet Bot+ is much quicker to scan the rooms. It completed nearly 500 sqft mapping of 7 rooms in about 10 minutes, after which it returned to the home base and gave a verbal update. The cleaning can be done for the entire mapped area or you can select individual "rooms" that have been mapped. Once it was done, it found its way back to the Cleaning Station where it automatically kicked-in the self-emptying routine which I must say was fairly loud, like a jet airplane taking off, but completed in about 15 seconds. Another nice touch is the Cleaning Station came with a waste bag pre-installed and a spare. Good thing, because they seem to be somewhat pricey. Time will tell how many loads per bag it can take. Other notable features are the 5-Layer HEPA filtration system and the Live Cleaning Report available in the SmartThings App that shows you where the Jet Bot+ is on the map and where you can tell it to pause, stop and get other details about its cleaning history. All in all, if you can afford it and especially if you have pets that shed a lot of hair, this is one smart robot vacuum to get.
