Review Text: Easy Setup. The Swann camera system comes with 4 cameras, a DVR recorder, a mouse, an HMDI cord, and an ethernet cable. The Hardware Installation Guide, a Startup Wizard Quick Start Guide, and a Swann Security (Android) Guide are included. These Guides are numbered in the order of the installation. The step-by-step instructions provided, make for the installation to go quickly and smoothly. If you have questions, you are able to chat with tech support by using the Swann app. Please note that this camera is on a wired system. The cameras provided, do not record audio but instead record movement and detect movement. Movement is detected through the use of True Detect, which uses heat and motion-sensing for more reliable alerts. Even when I walked behind the cameras, they could detect that I was in the room. The cameras adjust their view in daylight and nighttime using the Night2Day feature. The lens automatically adjusts based upon light or darkness. The lenses will transition from color to black and white. The 4K Ultra HD provides the ability to see objects, items, and faces close up. In the app, you have the ability to name each camera based on the location. While at work, sounded the alarm with the flashing lights and turned the camera light on and off for my family member that was at home to confirm the camera worked from using the app. PROS: Detects movement Free Recording Ability to sound the siren and turn on the camera light The Night2Day feature Smartphone Control Access anywhere with the Swann Security app.
