Review Text: Nice but not noise Canceling. Here is what I like about these in-ear headphones: - Compared to the previous model, they are more compact. thus easier to carry the case and and slightly less visible - The app is improved and has some nice features, especially the Sleep feature. You can select which sound, or mix of sounds - rain and beach at the same time - you can listen to and for how long with a countdown timer. The "Tip Fit Test" is a nice addition. It helped me determine that I was using a tip that was too small to make the NC work well. - the sound quality is good enough for music. The built-in volume controls are supposed to prevent excessive volume - the controls are pretty easy to use. I try to keep it to the double tap to start and the long press for my phone's assistant. This last feature worked here where I have struggled to make it work with other models. -They are comfortable for long-term wear What I don't like: - Even with the correct tip, they are not noise cancelling. There is a selection for "Noise Cancellation," "Transparency Mode" and "Normal" .The difference is noticeable, but the NC is not sufficient. Whatever you are listening to will be competing with the ambient noise. -The control surface is very sensitive. The older model had a tactile "push" - probably spring-loaded - that told you when you activated a function. With these,, the resistance is much more subtle and it is more of a slide than a push which causes the function to activate. I find myself accidently changing functions often, even when I am just trying to adjust the fit or move them around to get a little relief after a period of wear. Overall, I like them and I use them as a spare pair to keep in the car in case I forget my other go-to set.
