Review Text: Very nice mechanical keyboard!. This keyboard is mechanical, utilizing Cherry MX Speed switches, which are quiet and require less travel than other Cherry MX switches to activate the keystroke, while still maintaining that "clicky" mechanical keyboard feel! The LED illumination on these keys are fantastically bright and intense and can be controlled at the key level if you want utilizing the iCue software. I have multiple Corsair products that all use this same application and all are "linked" together to be controlled and create a colorful "flow" from one device to the next (keyboard, mouse, headset, RAM). As I mentioned before, these are a lot more quiet than all other Cherry MX switches I've used, which is great because I tend to be on the computer while my wife is sleeping and with how hard I bang on the keys I've been known to wake her up a time or two. There's other software that can integrate with the keyboard, Elgato Stream Deck, which honestly I won't be doing much which as much as I game, I really don't stream my gaming sessions. With this refresh of the K95 the wrist rest is significantly more "squishy" and comfortable over previous versions. This is a definite plus over the old model. There are media controls available, of which I use the volume roller the most. It's a nice metal bar that rolls up/down to adjust your volume above the numeric keypad. And lastly - there is a USB plug on the back. This is good because the keyboard uses two USB ports on your PC - this frees one up that it took for you to plug in whatever device you need to. Absolutely FANTASTIC keyboard Corsair - nothing to not love about this! KUDOS!
