Review Text: Good for audio (aka Astro a40 headset). Micro usb is not common for charging any any more. Its very much a legacy cable at this point. But I have an Astro A40 headset for my Series X, and if you have done research or own these two devices, you know that the micro USB cable does not conpare to digital optical audio. That is definitely true for the USB cable included with the headset. Im glad to say this cable vastly improves the audio quality. I no longer hear janky, distorted, and staticy audio. The game I've tested it on is Destiny 2, which has great music, and ambient sounds. The music does not sound warped (almost like its under water) anymore, nor does it pop and crackle like it did with other mico USB cables I have used ... ... ... now if you are wondering why: Let me start by saying that any cable adds noise and distortion, but some cables have better materials or solid connections. These two types improvements -- especially if you also use short cables (less than 6ft, when possible) can do wonders for audio quality. Now this cable does not mention these things explicitly, but out of all the cables I have seen, this was the only one that provided a cross section of the cable. This indicated to me that this manufacturer went further than most other brands to make a quality cable.
